Where you stay

Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

One&Only The Palm

Setting

A secluded beach retreat on the western crescent of Palm Jumeirah, with private beaches and a panoramic view of the Dubai skyline. It is reached across the palm or by boat from the hotel's own jetty. The Dubai Marina lies opposite, and downtown with the Burj Khalifa is around 25 minutes by car.

Architecture & gardens

Andalusian architecture meets contemporary Arabian elegance: arcades, courtyards with fountains, terracotta and natural stone. The resort is built low and set into lush gardens, so that it settles into the palm rather than rising above it. Shaded paths run between the buildings to the beach.

Rooms & villas

Two nights are booked in a Palm Manor Premium room of around 65 m². Suites and villas are available for a supplement, some with their own pool, private garden and direct beach access. The bathrooms are generous, and many units have a terrace facing the sea or the skyline.

Dining

STAY by Yannick Alléno holds the house's fine dining. The 101 Dining Lounge & Bar sits at the hotel's own marina and serves Mediterranean seafood facing the Dubai Marina skyline; Zest is the main restaurant, with Italian classics and international cooking.

Spa & sport

The Guerlain Spa offers treatments in quiet suites, alongside private poolside cabanas, a modern fitness centre, tennis courts and watersports from the hotel's own beach. Kitesurfing, paddling and jet skis can be booked on site.

Your stay

Dubai opens and closes this trip: after the first class flight from Frankfurt a private chauffeur brings you here, and two nights later the Emirates Executive jet takes over. A private yacht cruise around Palm Jumeirah can be arranged on request.

Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives

The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

Setting

The resort occupies an island of its own in the Dhaalu Atoll, a good 40 minutes' flight south of Malé. From the airport you continue by seaplane or luxury speedboat; the house reef begins immediately off the island.

Architecture

The design takes up Maldivian craft and translates it into something contemporary: curved roofs, a great deal of timber, woven textures and open transitions between inside and out. The overwater villas sit along two jetties that fan out into the lagoon.

Villas

Overwater and beach villas each have a private pool and butler service. Two nights are booked in an Overwater Villa with pool at around 182 m²: living room, bedroom facing the water, terrace with pool and steps straight down into the lagoon. Beach villas and larger units are bookable on request.

Dining

Several restaurants cover everything from beachside to fine dining, among them a house above the water and a wine bar. A private dinner on the beach can be arranged, as can breakfast delivered to the villa by boat.

Iridium Spa

The spa sits partly above the water and works with treatments matched to the length of your stay. Alongside it are the pool, a fitness area and quiet corners at the edge of the island.

In the water

Snorkelling and diving on the house reef, plus a dolphin cruise at sunset. The coral reefs around the island are minutes away, and the house provides equipment and a guide.

Round Island, Sainte Anne Marine Park, Seychelles

Enchanted Island Resort

Setting

The resort sits on private Round Island in the middle of the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, surrounded by turquoise water and tropical growth. It is a short boat ride from Mahé international airport, and the island can be walked around in half an hour.

The island

Only a handful of villas stand on the island, spread across the wooded slope and the beach. Granite boulders, takamaka trees and narrow paths define the place; there are no roads, no traffic and, apart from the guests, almost nobody.

Villas

Every villa has a private infinity pool, direct beach access and a panoramic sea view. Two nights are booked in a Superior Pool Villa of around 55 m², with an outdoor shower and terrace; larger villas are possible on request.

Dining

The cooking is Creole with fine-dining ambition: fish of the day, island spices, and sunset cocktails by the water. It is served in the restaurant, on the beach or on your own terrace.

Water & nature

Snorkelling and kayaking in the marine park start from the beach in front of the villa; the reef is protected and correspondingly busy. Nature walks lead across the island, and the spa offers treatments.

Tone

The house puts weight on privacy, sustainability and an unforced, personal tone. If you want to, you can pass a day seeing nobody but your own service.

Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve

Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa

Setting

The resort lies in the middle of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, about an hour from the airport. Around it there is nothing but dunes and the reserve; the grounds are fenced, but so large that you never notice.

Architecture

The resort is modelled on Bedouin heritage: tented roofs over solid suites, handmade Arabian furnishings, carpets and brass. The main building overlooks a hollow where oryx and gazelle gather.

Suites

Every suite has a private plunge pool facing the dunes and a terrace of its own. Two nights are booked in a Bedouin Suite with pool at around 75 m². The service is personal, and a field guide accompanies your stay.

Desert experiences

The stay includes wildlife safaris in the reserve, camel rides at sunset and falconry displays. Dinner is served under the open sky, often at a spot among the dunes.

Spa & pool

The spa offers treatments looking out into the desert, alongside the large pool by the hollow. From the terrace you can watch oryx and gazelle come down to drink.

Your stay

Al Maha is the last stop before the flight home: two nights of desert after the Maldives and the Seychelles, before Emirates First Class takes you back to Frankfurt.

PAYMENT & PROTECTION

How much is the deposit?

As a rule, the deposit is 20% of the trip price. For peak-season dates it may be higher; this will be stated in the respective offer. For non-refundable special-fare flight tickets, the deposit may also be higher, as the ticket must be paid in full immediately.

When is the balance due?

As a rule, 30 days before departure. We'll point out any deviations already at the time of booking.

How do I pay for my trip?

Payment is conveniently made by bank transfer.

Is my trip protected by a tour operator insolvency insurance (ATOL licence)?

Yes. As a German tour operator we are legally obliged to protect your trip with a tour operator insolvency insurance (ATOL licence). Fly Unique has a contract with the R+V Versicherung. You will receive your insurance certificate automatically with your booking confirmation.

Do you recommend a travel cancellation insurance?

We generally recommend travel cancellation insurance and are happy to advise you on suitable options.

You'll receive your booking confirmation immediately after booking, and the complete travel documents no later than two weeks before departure.

I'd like to fly myself. What do I need?

Send us a copy of your pilot's license. We'll then support you with the license revalidation and inform you about all the documents required for it.

Which aircraft is right for my trip?

We're happy to advise you on the choice, whether for flying yourself, joining as a passenger, or a trip by private plane or private jet.

Do you assist with route planning and permits for pilot trips?

Yes, we're happy to handle route planning and support you with any permits that may be required.

I'm pregnant. Can I still travel?

In principle, traveling is possible with an uncomplicated pregnancy up to week 34/35; the second trimester (weeks 14 to 28) is considered ideal. The exact rules vary by airline: many require a medical certificate of fitness to fly from week 28 onward, and most airlines decline to carry passengers from week 36 onward. Feel free to reach out. We'll check individually for your airline and route how your desired trip can be arranged.
